After-Work Shenanigans

Since my calendar is blocked the next two days, I went to the workshop after my office job (I would love to only work on this, but my wife probably would not be happy about the missing money. Gotta make ends meet.). At first I thought it was going to be quite rough as I already was tired after a long week. But to be honest, the physicality of working with hand tools brought back a bit of energy. Seems like physicians were right: You need to get your body moving if you want to live healthier. Mind you, since the AC was not working in the shop, I got a little bit sweaty, but became happier. After sitting in front of a computer all day long I could put my mind to something else.

I did not do much today, but I started cutting some bits and pieces for the lid of the box. This will not be only a prototype, but also a gift for a dear friend. IF I am satisfied with the finishing and look of the box I will put it up for sale on the website.

I am currently working on version 2 of my table easel, as well. I will add a compartment for closable compartment for brushes, paint, etc. Stay tuned!
