Happy little boxes?
How can I put this… Today I forgot my wood at home? I mean, I had some other plans for today but since something like that triggers my solution-oriented and creative part of my brain, I decided to work with the off-cuts other people have left behind (Do not worry, the would be discarded anyway.) and build a small box. After last time, this was a good opportunity to have some fun and it turned out quite good. I still need do make everything square, but that is a worry for next time.
I even sat down today and made a design for the lid which I will do as a mosaic. There will be some staining and I will add a little secret compartment and hopefully will finish it the next time. I can not wait to work on it again!
